Online Chatting Leads To Sexual Assault Of A Minor
A 35-year-old Brooklyn Park man is in police custody after he allegedly lured a 16-year-old Milwauee, WI girl into his car and drove her to Minnesota where he raped her and kept her locked up against her will.

According to police reports, Tony Xiong met the girl online where he pretended to be 23-years-old. On Saturday, March 21, Xiong arrived at the girl’s Milwaukee home and picked her up, telling her that they would take a short trip to Madison. Instead, police say Xiong took her to his Brooklyn Park home where he held her against her will and sexually assaulted her three different times.
Police say the girl was able to somehow log onto a computer to send her parents a message, indicating to them where she could be found.
When police arrived at Xiong’s home on Monday, March 23, they found the teen locked in a bathroom. Police immediately arrested Xiong.
Upon questioning, Xiong admitted knowing the girl was a minor and said he never had sexual contact with her. However, he claimed he was marrying the victim and that his actions were permissible under Hmong customs.
Xiong has been charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and false imprisonment. If convicted, he faces up to 18 years in prison, a $35,000 fine, or both.
